Enigma Pub
Mitch & Tracey found themselves in the Queensburgh area in KZN for this investigation which was also requested via email from the owners of the Enigma Pub in the city centre. After seeing Spitsa on Phantom aired on SABC 2, they decided to make contact and request an investigation.
The owners, staff and patrons had reported on many occasions of seeing shadows and objects moving on their own accord.
Spitsa’s distinguished quests included Dawn Johnson, clairvoyant and author and Oliver Roberts, reporter from the Sunday Times. Dawn was asked to come along and observe the investigation, while the Sunday Times were invited guests. What was also interesting is that the owners of the pub opted to be present during the investigation too.
The investigation was started at 21h00 and it was evident from the offset that there was a lot of activity in this premises. Within minutes, moving orbs were flooding camera lenses, strange noises and banging were captured on EVP. Two way radios mysteriously engaged in paging, whilst cold spells continued to raises the hair on the arms of the investigators.
At around 01h30, the team called it a day, satisfied that enough evidence had been documented to declare the premises haunted without any reasonable doubt.
Our conclusion:
There is no doubt in the minds of the Spitsa team that this establishment is definitely haunted. Final analysis of the recorded footage showed an apparition seated in a location of the pub, and a voice on one of the three EVP’s recorded clearly mentions the name “Patsy”.
